Our gourmet buffet night called ‘Around the World in Eighty Bites’ took place on Dec 5th and 6th and was a fantastic culinary success.
Foods from around the world were cooked fresh by the Royal an Lochan chefs Raymond and Shannon and everyone had the chance to eat as much as they liked!
We had Lamb Tagine, a whole chafing dish of vegetarian nibbles, including Empanadillas, Pakoras, Samosas, Arancini (deep fried stuffed rice balls) and Spring Rolls, then we had some of the same with carnivore interpretations such as Beef Bourguignon and Truffle Oil Mash, Chicken Tikka Kebabs, Kofte Kebabs, Chorizo and Plain Tortilla and some Scampi Bites.
Ours thanks go to chefs Raymond and Shannon for all their hard work in thinking up and cooking this wonderful array of dishes. Thank you also to all those who attended.
