The Royal an Lochan

The Restaurant

The menu in the Royal an Lochan restaurant includes both traditional and speciality dishes such as our duck, chicken and halibut dishes which are styled to make the most of seasonal vegetables.

The Royal an Lochan is most well known for outstanding, fresh seafood and diners can expect to see a variety of fish, langoustine, mussels and scallops on our menus’ starter and main courses.

Seafood a Speciality

The Seafood Menu is tried and tested and is always a firm favourite and makes the best use possible of the cream of Scottish seafood such as plump, Loch Fyne king scallops and big, juicy langoustines landed at Tarbert. But don’t just take our word for it.

As great believers in the use of local seafood and produce, the Royal an Lochan is a member of the Seafood Trail which is a must for all ‘sea foodies’.

Praise from Tom Kitchin

The Royal an Lochan has established a great reputation for our local seafood, with award winning chef Tom Kitchin saying in the October 2012 BBC Good Food Magazine his “ideal meal would be a plate of langoustines and a glass of white wine with his wife by his side”
in our restaurant.

Food Allergies Catered For
